Marisa Frade completed her law degree at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon in 2018 and has been registered with the Portuguese Bar Association since 2022. She later attended the taught component of the Master's in Business and Technology Law at NOVA University Lisbon.
In 2018, she completed an internship in investment consultancy at AGPC - Almeida Garrett, Pinto de Carvalho, Sociedade de Advogados, SP, RL. In 2019, she began her professional internship at Espanha & Associados (currently named Unit Legal - Sociedade de Advogados, SP, RL), where she practiced law for five years, until the beginning of 2025.
Marisa is a researcher at NOVA IPSI – Knowledge Centre on Intellectual Property and Sustainable Innovation at the Faculty of Law of NOVA University Lisbon, where she conducts research on the impact of emerging technologies on copyright law and collaborates on various events and publications of the center.
