Cátia is a Paralegal at BMA since 2010.


Apart from translation services in BMA, Cátia has been developing her activity within the area of industrial property, being responsible for the management, prosecution and maintenance of industrial property portfolios of several national and foreign clients.

She finished her degree in Modern Languages and Literature - English and German studies in the field of Translation at the Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 1999 and in May 2011 she concluded the Post Graduate studies in Subtitling at the ISLA Campus Lisboa (Laureate International Universities).

She has been a freelance translator since 1999 with wide experience in the translation of documents, legal opinions, pleadings and patents, among others.

Between 2001 and 2010 she worked at the company Raul César Ferreira, S.A – Patents and Trademarks.
