We are delighted to welcome Rita Milhões to the Trademark Team at Baptista Monteverde e Associados.
Rita joins us as an Associate and brings over 15 years of experience in intellectual property, with a strong focus on trademarks, designs and copyright, as well as extensive experience in litigation in these areas.
She holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2003) and has been a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2005. Rita also completed a postgraduate degree in Industrial Property Law (APDI / FDUL) and a postgraduate degree in Law and Management (Nova SBE).
Throughout her career, Rita has worked as a lawyer and industrial property consultant at Simões, Garcia, Corte-Real & Associados and J.E. Dias Costa, and has also served as General Counsel at Laserperformance and Maclaren, advising across IP, compliance, corporate and procurement matters.
Rita has been an Official Industrial Property Agent and Professional Representative before the EUIPO since 2012, and is a member of ACPI, AIPPI and ECTA.
