Joana Cunha Reis to attend 40th MARQUES Annual Conference

Yes, Lisbon will be at the heart of the trademark community next week, and we are delighted that Joana Cunha Reis will be attending the 40th MARQUES Annual Conference, taking place from 22 to 25 September 2026.

This year’s conference, under the theme “The Exciting Evolution of Trademarks”, will explore how trademarks and other IP assets are evolving as businesses develop new ways to build and protect brand value. 

The programme includes sessions geographical indications, as well as updates from EUIPO and recent EU case law. Interactive workshops will also address topics such as anti-counterfeiting, unconventional trademarks, AI, domain name arbitration and EU design developments. 

We look forward to meeting colleagues and friends from across the IP community in Lisbon.
