We are pleased to announce that, on October 24, 2025, BMA will host the conference “Intellectual Property and Artificial Intelligence: Transformation and Legal Challenges” at the Museu do Oriente.
The event will bring together leading national and international experts to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on intellectual property, fostering critical and multidisciplinary reflection.
The programme will feature panels addressing the training of AI models with protected content, analysis of AI-generated outputs, and the infringement of intellectual property rights. Among the speakers are academics, lawyers, and institutional leaders.
The conference will conclude with a panel discussion featuring the President of INPI, the President of Associação DNS.PT, and the President of ARBITRARE – Centro de Arbitragem, who will discuss the opportunities and risks associated with the use of AI. Moderated by BMA lawyers, this event will contribute to enhancing literacy in artificial intelligence.
